Police have arrested and charged three young boys in connection with a serious assault in a Glasgow car park.

The alleged incident took place around 8.10pm on Wednesday in the Q Car Park in Adams Court Lane close to the St Enoch Centre.

A 21-year-old man taken to Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

The three – aged 13, 14 and 16 – are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Saturday.

Police Scotland conformed news of the arrest via a statement, which read: “Police have arrested and charged three male youths – aged 13, 14 and 16 – in connection with a serious assault in Adams Court Lane, Glasgow.

“The incident, which saw a 21-year-old man taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, happened around 8.10pm on Wednesday, 1 June, 2022.
