She invites us to face the deepest, darkest emotions and see them through to the other side.
She reminds us to not do this alone. We need each other. Find a trustworthy person who asks you the hard questions and stays by your side through it all.
Ann’s book is designed to be a 40-day journey: part devotional, part Bible Study. I have already taken three very important truths from it:

- Peace comes from being in God’s presence.
